They contribute to technological innovation by developing advanced software and algorithms to enhance the efficiency, performance, and reliability of robotic and automated equipment. Working closely with multiple departments, they ensure successful commissioning and proper operation of robotic solutions tailored to client needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to programming industrial robots (ABB, FANUC, UR, Yaskawa, etc.).
  • Program PLCs and HMIs (Ladder Logic, Structured Text).
  • Program 2D and 3D vision systems (Omron, Cognex, Halcon).
  • Design and simulate various robotic cells.
  • Perform internal commissioning of robotic cells.
  • Deploy and ensure proper operation of robotic systems at client sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve programming-related issues (debugging).
  • Identify and track blockers to ensure project progress.
  • Collaborate with different departments to optimize system performance.
  • Conduct tests and validations to ensure the performance and reliability of robotic solutions.
  • Provide remote support to the technical team when needed.
  • Participate in the development of machine documentation (flowcharts, one-pagers, functional analyses, etc.).

Qualifications

  • AEC or DEC in computer engineering technology, or DEC in automation/robotics, or any other relevant training;
    and/or
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, robotics, and/or a combination of relevant experience;
    and/or
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in automated or robotic systems.
  • Knowledge of robot programming languages.
  • Strong command of industrial PLCs (Omron, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
  • Knowledge of robotics and industrial automation.
  • Experience with vision tools.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English; this skill is essential for effective collaboration with English-speaking partners and clients, as well as for accessing technical resources and updates on advanced technologies.
