Why We Decided Not to Air a Super Bowl Ad This Year

Super Bowl ads

With the "big game" that took place yesterday, we thought it might be a good time to explain why we once again decided not to air a commercial during the Super Bowl this year.

It’s not that we didn’t have great ideas around the theme of "optimizing production." We’re confident our concept of robots coming to the rescue of a struggling factory would have captivated the audience. It had all the ingredients for a memorable ad:

  • Humor (a clumsy robot learning how to better work with humans).
  • Celebrities (The Rock as a heroic robot operator).
  • A love story featuring the charming actress Hailee Steinfeld (the fiancée of the Buffalo Bills’ quarterback).
  • An inspiring ending (a production line saved just in time).

So why deprive the world of this potentially brilliant idea?

Let’s just say it’s for the same reason we didn’t do it in previous years — even when we had a great opportunity during Super Bowl LIII to show how we help companies replace repetitive tasks with smart automation.

Okay, here’s the simple truth: We just don’t have $8 million lying around for a single ad!

And we’re guessing neither do you. Even though Revtech Systems is well-known in Quebec’s robotics industry, you might not realize that we’re not a massive company. We’re proud to be a resourceful team used to designing custom solutions with limited resources.

For companies like ours, there’s no 30-second shortcut to show how to optimize production or eliminate repetitive tasks. Just a constant devotion to our mission and close collaboration with our partners. We’re honored to be part of your game plan.

So, instead of airing a spectacular commercial, we chose to keep helping Quebec companies innovate and unlock their full potential. We're proud to be part of your growth strategy because, like you, we know that winning solutions are built with determination and perseverance.
