Privacy policy

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in Revtech Systems Inc. ("Revtech", "we", "us"), our site at https://revtechsys.com (the "Site"), and any other sites, software, and other services we provide on which a link to this Policy is posted, and any other communications with individuals by written or oral means, such as e-mail or telephone (collectively referred to, with the Site, as our "Service").

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes the information we collect on or through the Service, how we use and disclose that information, and the steps we take to protect it. By visiting the Site or using the Service, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy.

This Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms and Conditions. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Policy have the meanings given to them in our Terms and Conditions. This Policy does not apply to information about Revtech's employees or suppliers.

1. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
We collect various types of information via or from the Service. The legal bases for our processing of Personal Information are primarily that the processing is necessary to provide the Service and it is carried out in our legitimate interests, which are explained further in the "Use of Information" section. We may also process Personal Information with your consent, by requesting it from you where appropriate.

a) Information provided by the user
When using the Service, you may provide and we may collect certain information that identifies you personally or that can be used to identify you personally ("Personal Information"). Personal Information includes (but is not limited to) the following categories of information: first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone number, country, business contact information, company name, role/function, CV (for a job application), username and password. Personal Information may also include other information, such as preferences, where such information is linked to information that identifies a particular person. You may provide us with Personal Information in various ways on the Service. For example, when you use the Service, you send us customer service-related requests, subscribe to receive our newsletters, register to open an account, interact with other users of the Service and participate in other online activities, and so on. If you choose not to disclose any Personal Information we request, you may not be able to access certain parts of the Service.

b) Information collected automatically
When using the Service, we may automatically record certain information from your device using various types of technology, including cookies, "clear GIFs" or "web beacons". - to a purchaser, successor or assignee in connection with a merger, acquisition, debt financing, asset sale or similar transaction, as well as in the event of insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership in which information is transferred to one or more third parties as one of our business assets and only if the recipient of your Personal Information adopts a privacy policy that includes terms substantially consistent with this Policy.
Where we disclose your Personal Information to third parties, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the rules set out in this Policy are applied and that such third parties provide sufficient safeguards to implement appropriate organizational and technical measures.

5. TRANSFER OF DATA

7. RIGHTS CONCERNING PERSONAL INFORMATION
Upon written request and subject to proof of identity, you may access the Personal Information we hold, use or disclose and request that any necessary corrections be made, where applicable, as permitted or required by law. However, to ensure that the Personal Information we maintain about you is accurate and up to date, please inform us immediately by e-mail if your Personal Information changes.

Under the GDPR, you are entitled to specific provisions, including: (i) the right to withdraw your consent to processing where consent is the basis for processing; (ii) the right to access your Personal Information and certain other additional information, subject to certain conditions; (iii) the right to object to unlawful data processing, subject to certain conditions ; (iv) the right to erase your Personal Information, under certain conditions; (v) the right to request that we restrict the processing of your Personal Information, under certain conditions, if you believe that we have exceeded the legitimate basis for the processing, that the processing is no longer necessary or believe that your Personal Information is inaccurate; (vi) the right to portability of the Personal Information you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, under certain conditions; (vii) the right to object to decisions taken by automated means that produce legal effects concerning you or affect you in a similar and significant way, under certain conditions; (viii) the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authorities. Please note that the term Personal Information used in this Policy is equivalent to the term "personal data" under the RGPD.

Under the RGPD, Revtech acts as both "Data Controller" and "Data Processor". As a Data Processor, Revtech has a duty to protect our customers' data while they interact directly with our services such as https://revtechsys.com. As a Data Processor, Revtech is obliged to protect the user data of our partners and customers as it passes through our system.

8. RESPECT FOR THE PRIVACY OF CHILDREN
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 16 without obtaining parental consent. If you are under 16, please do not use or access the Service at any time or in any way. If we become aware that Personal Information has been collected on the Service from persons under the age of 16 and without verifiable parental consent, then we will take appropriate steps to delete such information. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under the age of 16 has provided Personal Information, then you may alert us as set forth in the "Contact" section and request the deletion of such child's Personal Information from our systems.
